I'd certainly been in love before, and played house with men in my 20's and 30's as I took on the role of dutiful girlfriend, cooking them elaborate dinners and going halfsies on dates. After a couple of years of auditioning for the wifey role it crushed my heart when they drifted off, or told me that they "don't see themselves being ready for marriage for another 10 years".

Where had I gone wrong? I had followed the modern-day relationship formula to absolute perfection:

1. Date for a short while.

2. Become exclusive.

3. Commit to him as a loyal girlfriend.

4. Move in together.

5. Pay for half of everything we buy/do together.

Why wasn't this leading to a proposal and marriage?

I had kept my end of the bargain, while the men I chose had casually decided that they weren't ready for anything more serious anytime soon. I took a break from dating, and just like that... a decade went by. I had busied myself with work, catching up with friends, and bingeing on Netflix and Haagen Dazs to fill the void. After a while it felt like everyone else had coupled-up except for me.

Looking at the happy photos of my love journey today, its hard to believe that just a few short years ago I had given up on love and wasn't even sure if I'd ever get married. I definitely was not going to put much effort into the task of finding a husband, as I had more urgent things to do, explore, and achieve. At least that's what I told myself. The truth is, I had hidden fears and insecurities lurking just below the surface that kept me from even believing I was marriage material. After all, who wants to marry a 40-something year old cat lady?

And while it's not all about the glistening diamond atop a masterfully forged piece of precious metal - it's what it represents that we truly crave.

A man who has decided that he can't imagine a future without us in it. A man who has thoughtfully and lovingly invested in a sacred symbol of lasting love and commitment - for us. The significant relationship milestone that has been accomplished together. A cherished object we get to wear each and every day. The heartfelt promise of a divine union, and something to be joyfully and publicly celebrated!

To be proposed to by a man you deeply love and want to marry is just about the most exquisitely lit-up feeling a woman can experience in life.

My heart and soul yearned for this, but for so long it seemed like just a fairytale or something that happened to other people (especially on Instagram). How did I get to this place where I was hiding from love? Years had flown by and I had not felt ready for a relationship, or I just wasn't meeting the right types of men. I blamed the city I lived in, my shyness, weight fluctuations, my deep need to avoid heartbreak and abandonment, you name it. I had ALL the excuses . During those long single years where I had stubbornly put love on the back-burner I did experience the occasional twinge of panic and regret. There was the time at a family wedding when I was holding my newborn nephew and my dad joked:

I laughed it off, but the brutal realness of his words cut deeply and reverberated for a while afterwards. I was deemed the independent one by my family, but the thing is, I never wanted that title or that kind of life. It just became my reality by default. How I responded to relationship curveballs and challenges (recoiling and avoiding) had impelled me to be that way. It was certainly time to start making more conscious choices about love. It was clear that something had to change, and it had to be me.

Following a series of wake-up calls from the Universe, including a health scare, I felt a deep calling to re-evaluate my life. I decided that instead of being fearful and holding on to dense, low-vibe, out-dated wounds, I was going to let go of the energetic and emotional clutter that was holding me back, heal myself with love, and live my dream life .

I made a quantum leap into a more healthful, happier, loved-up future. I took better care of myself from the inside out on spiritual, emotional and physical levels. I already had a solid background in the study of consciousness and law of attraction, so I made the choice to educate myself on everything to do with my blindspot - dating and relationships. I used many new tools and techniques to up-level, including deep inner work to alchemize critical self-talk and sabotaging thoughts and patterns around relationships. I began to embrace my feminine energy and this unfolded in a way that healed and transformed my life.

I rediscovered love and got married in my 40's after realizing that divine love is a force that we all have access to, and it's by tapping into this healing well of love that resides within us that allows us to become the ultimate reciprocal for the extraordinary man we wish to attract and marry.

How long does this coaching journey last for?

It's a 6-month package, and we can assess if more time is needed. I do not want you to feel urgency to rush into finding a husband before a coaching expiration date. Rushing is just not sexy or romantic! Also, I want to see you get the result that you signed up for. What's the difference between Get the Ring! Coaching Journey and the VIP option?

It's best suited to women who are open to trying things a different way in order to get a different result. Some of the dating techniques used can be counter-intuitive because we are so accustomed to operating from our masculine "doing" energy. That can be great for our careers, but not for creating polarity and lasting love and romance with a masculine energy man. Y ou will find that a high achieving career and a fulfilling love life can absolutely go together, without having to play small or diminish your light.

As part of this journey we create a Love List of the traits we desire in a partner. I encourage you to focus on your dream relationship, rather than 1 particular man who may or may not be stepping up to move the relationship along. If you feel stuck currently, or have been a girlfriend for years and desire more, there are many tools we can use to activate your man, but if he decides that marriage is not an option, you must be willing to eventually move on to do whats best for you, lovely. Sometimes it takes being willing to walk away to wake a man up to what he will be missing if he doesn't put a ring on it. Sometimes it takes the courage to close one door in life in order to invite in a new opportunity to flourish.

What if I don't feel ready?

I'll let you in on a little secret. Most women, in some way, do not feel 100% ready. In these intimate group coaching sessions you get to learn from other women's situations as well as having focused time to work on your process. With the VIP option, the weekly sessions are completely private one-to-one sessions with me each time. This is best suited to high profile clients or those who prefer to meet privately.
